Week 11 - Due November 1

This week we are taking a break from Internet activities...kind of. You will be creating a visual display which proves to me you understand "How a Bill Becomes a Law". On the "Our Class" page, there are several links which will provide you with information on how a bill becomes a law in the American legislative system. Also, you can use your textbook or the poster in the classroom.

Possible Sites with Information:

Materials:

1)Construction Paper: any color; if you need paper I have a ton (hyperbole)

2) Any other supplies you want to use

Directions:

On this paper, you need to show through symbols, pictures, words, charts, or graphs (or in any other clever manner) how a bill becomes a law. Let your creativity guide you. You definitely need to show 1) all the steps a bill goes through to become a law and 2) all the ways that a bill can die (not be passed)

You will be graded out of 40 points in the following manner:

I. Demonstrates how bill becomes a law (15 points)

II. Demonstrates how bill dies (15 points)

III. Neatness (5 points)

IV. Creativity (5 points)

I want to be able to put these up throughout our room, so please take pride in your final project.
