The Eye of the Tiger
Don't you ever wish that someone could act differently from
the way
they normally do? Perhaps they can't help it for their Chinese
Horoscope
describes their personalities. There happen to be twelve different
Chinese Horoscopes, which are all animals. Therefor, you want
to know which one
you are you need to know your year of birth. Myself, I am known
as a tiger,
born in 1986. (Each of the eighth graders are either tigers or
they are
ox's.) Proud, is what I am to be a tiger.
Starting off, the tiger is very generous and passionate. However,
he is
also very powerful and quick-tempered. Tiger's can also be impatient,
although so are most people nowadays. Best of all, this dynamic
creature is always
giving a 100% and is never reckless or restless. The tiger is
powerful
and daring and loving on the other hand. Tigers are almost excellent.
I think that I share most of the tiger's characteristics. For
starters,
I am daring. Roller coasters and sky flying are what I love best.
Planning
ahead, I want to go bungee jumping in September. Like the tiger,
I have my
soft sides; I am very generous, always giving give gifts even
if there is
not a special occasion. To top it off, I have a great sense
of humor.
Laughing for me is easy for I laugh at the weirdest things and
I always laugh my
hardest when a joke is told at my expense. There are just
a few of the
many qualities to share with the tiger!
Next, there are attributes the tiger and I don't share.
Reckless is a
word that does not describe me. Also, I always become tired easily
and my
parents even call me a, "sleepy head." I am never
the center of attention
probably because I don't try to be. Lastly, I am not quick tempered,
normally
I'll hold my anger in. Trying not to show my anger if someone
is making me
upset. Ending, those are the only characteristics I don't share
with the
tiger.
Lastly, if I had to change any of the traits in the horoscope,
I would
change all of the ones that don't represent me. First, I
would change
reckless; every now and then someone is going to be a tired wreck.
A
person could have lack of sleep of even jet lag. Then, as to
center of
attention, when someone has this opportunity, they are the only
people to have it
and it is not that special because later, all of that attention
will die
off. Last, I am not quick tempered although most people are,
maybe if the
Chinese trait changed; it would change the minds of people.
In conclusion, being a tiger is quite special. Living
in Asia has
provided me with an opportunity to learn about the Chinese Horoscopes.
I have
learned that I share some characteristics with, "My tiger,"
but not all.
