A boy that could fit under the barrier to school walked into the locker
hallway in Duxbury middle school. He had black hair that reflected the
bright light into everyone’s eyes. His glasses covered his face fromthe
bottom of his nose to the top of his eyebrows. His shirt was tucked intight
that you thought his waist was reduced and his shoulders were biggerbut of
course they really weren’t and he walked pigeon footed. His shirt wasblue
and white striped shirt and skintight pants. He had a suitcase in onehand
and his lunch in the other.As he walked down the hallway everyonestarted to
make jokes about him but he didn’t mind with that big smile on hisface, he
thought that they were all his friends and just playing with him. HisName
was Ernie Tuff. He was from Louisiana. Ernie stopped by his locker and
opened it along with his suitcase. He got everything he needed for the1st 3
periods. His best friend Daniel Schwartz stopped by and said hello. Hetold
Ernie “ Oh my god. Everything is so organized” since it all had labelson
it. Ernie replied with an answer of “I spend 2 hours everyday to fixup
my bag so I know where everything is the next day”. Ernie asked Dan “Did
you do your science homework on energy, light and sound? I did. Did youknow
that light travels a lot faster than sound?” Ernie than closed hislocker
and saw that Daniel wasn’t there anymore. Daniel looked around saying
“Daniel where are you? Can you hear me?” Then Daniel jumped out theside of
the locker and screamed “BOO”. Everyone stopped talking and looked atthe 2
fools staring at each other. There was silence everywhere that youcould
here a pin drop. Then one kid said “Oh it’s only those 2 losers.” Andthen
everyone started talking again. Ernie then said “ You gave me such afright
and you worried me. I thought you were lost. Don’t do that nexttime.”Daniel
replied “ Oh I’m sorry I promise I won’t do it again” then they huggedand
walked to their science class just after the bell rang. In science theclass
was studying light. The teacher Miss Gibson asked Ernie how light wasmade.
Ernie replied with a very complex answer including the process of
Photosynthesis but every 10 words he had a little squeak in his voicefor no
reason.One of the boys then said “ Oh my god, what a retard.” MissGibson
then said Good answer Ernie you are such a smart boy. Ernie excelled in
every subject in school and so did Daniel. They were the schools nerdsand
appeared in all the schools newspapers.
