The Truth about Me

Can one person be both powerful and passionate? Yes, someone can, this
person was probably born in one of the many tiger years. This is so
because according to Chinese legend, the tiger has power but is also very
passionate. Along with these two characteristics the tiger and I share
being adventurous, fortunate and hate being ignored. The features we
don’t share are being security conscious, loud and having an unquenchable
spirit. Some qualities I share with the tiger I want to get rid of, these
attributes are being impatient, jealous and speaking my own mind when I’m upset.
Your personality depends on what year you were born into, for instance I was
born in July 1986 and I fall into the year of the tiger. Most of the traits
the horoscope has mentioned are true, but some don’t apply to me at all.

One aspect that a tiger has is being adventurous. Looking back, I
think I am an adventurous person because whenever I have a choice I never pick
the dull one. For example, my family and I were planning a trip for spring
break. We could either go to Phuket, where we went last spring, or we
could go on a New Zealand camping trip. Doubtfully, I knew Phuket was fun
because there was a ton of facilities to use, but we had never been to New
Zealand and I thought a camping trip would be something new. Nevertheless, I
chose New Zealand and I had a great time. We never stayed in one hotel for
the entire week and we went on a very educational safari. In the safari, I
saw many new exotic creatures. On the other hand, I think I am adventurous
because my dream is to climb a mountain, not something gigantic like
Everest, but just having the thrill to reach the top. I also want to
go skydiving before I get too old. The closest I got to skydiving was
jumping off my friend’s roof onto a trampoline. The second feature that the
tiger and I have in common is being a fortunate person. Luckily, I am
getting an excellent education and I have a vast chance of getting into college.
I have a satisfying house, and I have enough food to feed a horse.
Thankfully, I have a loving family and caring friends. The third
distinctive trait that the tiger and I share is to hate being ignored.
When I just keep on talking and talking until I notice no one is listening I
get extremely furious at them. Even if they are just joking around I can’t
handle it. In addition of why I hated being ignored is when I talk to
my parents and a friend of theirs comes over and they just leave me
talking to the wall while they talk to their friend. It’s really embarrassing,
people staring at me because I am talking to myself.
A tiger is very security conscious, I’m not. Whenever I walk alone or
somewhere freaky, I never think there’s someone or something behind me.

Thinking of the dark, I remember how I can’t sleep with the light on
and I like scaring my brother in the dark. The dark setting makes it more
fun. The tiger is also loud, but I am very quiet. Shyly, I never talk to
strangers and sometimes I’m even quiet around my family and friends. I
went to a camp this year with my friend for a couple days and I stuck with
my friend, and didn’t meet anyone new. The horoscope lastly says that I
have an unquenchable spirit, well that’s wrong as well. Usually, I try to
lighten up my spirit, I try at least two times, but after that I just
whine or give up. I have a very low stamina too. In sports I am fired up
and ready to go in the beginning, but as the game continues I get really
hot and tired and just want to lie down.
I both have efficient and displeasing traits. The exceptional
qualities I want to keep and the wicked distinctions I don’t want to keep. One of
the features that I want to get rid of is being impatient. I am very
impatient because I always rush through things so I can do something else.
Anything that I can rush through I rush through. Also I hate it when people in
front of me take their time, for instance in the lunch line some guy doesn’t
know what to eat and is just holding up the line, reading everything on the
menu.

Occasionally, I just want to go up to him and shove him aside. Its
also the same when buying movie tickets, the person in front doesn’t know
what movie to see. Another corrupt habit is being jealous. Generally, I
hate the people that others adore. I think they are so snobby and they
think the whole world revolves around them. It’s weird though, because I envy
those people who are worshipped. The last misfortunate distinction that I
want to get rid of is speaking my mind when I’m angry. An example of this
mannerism is when my parents give me a harsh punishment and I talk back
to defend myself, but I usually end up with a worse punishment. I also
get mad at my siblings and friends when they haven’t done anything wrong to me
I was just in a “pissed off” mood. The noble and vile features the horoscope has mentioned are mostly
true, but some of the characteristics don’t fit my personality at all. I have
some interesting aspects that the tiger and I both have, some efficient, but
some displeasing. Chinese horoscope is a very exciting cultural belief;
maybe you should try it out and see what kind of personality you will
possess.
